Paul Salopek is a journalist and National Geographic Fellow known for his remarkable walking project called the "Out of Eden Walk." Since 2013, he has been retracing the ancient human migration route from Ethiopia to South America, covering over 21,000 miles, (approximately 34,000 kilometers)

The Out of Eden Walk is an ambitious journey aiming to explore our shared human history and document stories of communities along the way.
Salopek practices "slow journalism," emphasizing deep storytelling and connecting with people and environments over an extended period.
